Some great photos of San Francisco and Seattle. The Seattle images are from 1959, including houses being removed for a new freeway and the 1959 Seafair Grande Parade which was later named the the Torchlight Parade in 1977. The Grand Marshall of the parade that year was none other than Bob Hope. The San Francisco images are from 1958 and include houses on Geary Blvd which have since been torn down, photos from the San Francisco Zoo, Piers on the waterfront that have been removed, and the old Union 76 clock tower.
