Using the Site

You may browse and share the archive for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the Site — no attempts to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it unlawfully.

The photographs

Found Photos hosts found and rescued photographs whose original photographers are unidentified. We make no claim to be the author of these images. For questions or concerns about a specific image, contact us.

Reuse

The photographs and their descriptions are published for viewing within this archive only. We do not permit them to be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or reused in any other format — print, digital, or otherwise — without our written permission. If you'd like to use an image, please contact us with any questions.

What you send us

If you submit information (an identification, a correction, a message), you grant us permission to use it to research and describe the archive, and to publish non-personal parts of it (for example, “a visitor identified this as Roseburg, Oregon”). Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share. See our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

The Site and its information are provided “as is.” Dates, places, and identifications are best-effort and often uncertain — we label our confidence, but we don't guarantee accuracy.
