This enormous hollow redwood log is displayed at Ancient Redwoods RV Park, about one mile north of Redcrest along the Avenue of the Giants. Visitors have long been able to walk through or pose inside its naturally hollowed trunk, making it a popular roadside photograph stop. The log reflects the immense size and age reached by the coast redwoods of Humboldt County.
