The Eden Roc Hotel, located at 4525 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, opened in 1956 and quickly became one of the city’s most fashionable oceanfront resorts. Designed by celebrated architect Morris Lapidus in the glamorous Miami Modern—or MiMo—style, the hotel was known for its sweeping curves, theatrical interiors and distinctive rooftop Eden Roc sign.
